collins? <div class="quote_poster">Quoting NbaBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">wow this sux. another player. if im guessin rite, every player on the nets was injured at least once</div> i dont think collins has been really injured this year........
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting JWohl:</div><div class="quote_post">i dont think collins has been really injured this year........</div> no i he missed three games this season
I will miss him. I don't think many people knew what he could bring to the table, and he definitely stepped his game up, defensively, and sometimes offensively. I want to keep Best as the backup pg, so I'd want Zoran starting.
No, I think Travis moves into the starting lineup cause Coach franks really likes the 2 point guard lineup cause it allows Kidd to play off the ball on both ends of the court which is really benefical for us right now. Playing Kidd defensively off the ball allows him to move over and guard the opposing teams best perimeter scorer and also play the passing lanes more to create some turnovers. And offensively having another point guard on the floor allows Kidd to become a scorer, while Best or Vuaghn sets up the offense in the halfcourt, so I think that Coach Frank will stick with the 2pg concept. And put Travis back into the starting lineup where he was beforew he got hurt a couple months ago. As for Zoran the injury to Vaughn will allow him more minutes in the rotation but it still wont be at the same playing time he was at back in November. And Rodney same thing increased minutes but I dont think he will get his starting job back cause Best has been apart of the rotation & concepts for the entire 2nd half since the all-star break. And Buford hasnt, also Rodney hasnt regianed the shooting form that he had before the injury. If Buford isnt shooting the ball well & scoring then he can become more of a liablity then a plus if you give him starter like minutes. But we will see who gets to start, but my gut tells me its going to be Travis Best.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting NbaBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">^^ yea ok and im the next jordan</div> Actually Scalabrine did start yesterday, but Coach Lawerence Franks said that the starting 5 is not set in stone, it will change depending on matchups. Cleveland has a big frontline so going with a big unit is a better matchup. But Coach also said that he will change the starting 5 to matchup with smaller teams.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting xpehbamxyu:</div><div class="quote_post">hmmm...Does that mean that Best might start vs. the Knick tommorrow?</div> Probably, because the Knicks have a pretty small sized backcourt. And moving Vince to the 3 spot gives us a favorable matchup of Tim Thomas trying to guard him. And we all seen what happened in the last matchup, Vince could get to the hoop anytime he wanted with TT matchup against him. His first step is just to quick for Thomas to deal with....So I expect to see Carter getting alot of minutes at the 3, so that means going with the small backcourt. But after the way Scali played against Cleveland it might be hard for Coach franks to pull him out the starting 5. But most likely he will...
