IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez (28-3, 12 KO’s) retained his International Boxing Federation title with a 12 round decision over top ranked contender Lenny Zappavigna (25-1,17 KOs). Vazquez used head movement and constant angles to avoid the big shots from Zappavigna. The final judges’ scores were 117-111, 118-110 and 118-110.
