Entitled- "Chip Kelly is an elite coach.. BUT" Def check this out.. so much hilarity from basically one poster making excuses http://wearesc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144200
Every forum has a buffoon and he gets that prize. I like how all the other posters knock his post down. He didn't get a single agreeable post.
Entertaining, indeed. How does Oregon get away with this "crap"? As the poster said, the rules must be changed. Kinda like the rules should have been changed back in 1908 to ban the devilish forward pass. coo-coo
The funny part about it... how is it any "worse" than teams slowing it down to the last second every play to try and keep the ball out of the Duck's Offense's hands? Its like reverse of what the Ducks do.
The one thing that actually wouldn't surprise me, but sadden me because I think it's fun, is oulawing the pictures. For example, if the NCAA has a contract with McDonalds and the BK King shows up all over the tv set, someone might get their panties in a bunch. If the game is on FOX, but the ESPN guys show up all over the tv, someone else might get upset. That would be the only thing I can think of. One more thing. I agree that at some point fairly soon, defenses will catch on to this. It will be interesting to see if Kelley will be able to adjust
If anything, it's the opposing teams that are cheating by faking injuries. I didn't get that impression from USC because they only had like one injury, McDonald, and he hobbled off the field quickly under his own power. I respect that. They obviously have too much pride to fake injuries to win the game.
Wow, I'm guessing that was the first football game that guy has ever watched. Scratch that. I'm guessing that was the first sporting event that guy has ever seen.
