Very possible this team might not make the playoffs.

Read over their last 20 games they are basically 10-10. That sucks. Our GM is useless. He was one of the worst GM's in hockey last season. He's picked up where he left off. Let's face it, if Panarin didn't come in on a mission this season, the team would be .500 at best. However, the rest of the league is rounding into form now and our incompetent, dumbass GM continues to sit there playing with himself. He'll probably end up pissing away our draft picks for a player that isn't a difference maker.

Lava needs to send some messages. Starting with Kreider who is beyond lazy at even strength. I would take him off the PP unit until he starts playing at even strength like he's capable of. That means actually hitting somebody instead of playing like a 6'3 pansy.

The team as a whole is just non-physical, giving tons of cushion to teams off the rush and on the PK. That was supposed to be part of Schneiders game but he, along with Miller have taken a step backwards. Miller is dealing with some kind of mental health issue, whatever that's all about.

Very possible....do you mean very likely? Something is either possible or impossible. If you think it's likely the Rangers miss the playoffs you're out of your mind. If you just think it's possible, no one would argue with you, at least not mathematically.

I'm not so sure. Looking at the standings, A LOT of teams have closed a ton of ground. This team has had one line score at even strength consistently all season.
That is not a recipe for success. That and our starting goalie is too much of a pussy to tell his wife to take care of the kid all hockey season. It was obvious last year when he looked like he was tired and half asleep until the final push when he miraculously woke up.

I'm shocked that you would quit on the team so early dump (he said knowingly) - guess GG wasn't the problem after all. I love JD as much as anyone but as a longtime Rangers fan, Wilson rag dolling Panarin with nothing done was beyond embarrassing. Finding out that ownership's first order of business to JD/Gorton was toughening up the team which they ignored rightly resulted in their firing. Drury was correct to sign a one dimensional goon like Reaves, it allows all the softies on the roster to relax knowing they're protected. Ryan didn't even have to drop the gloves most times, his presence alone dictated how physically other teams played. Drury's biggest mistake was letting the marshmallow gang come in after being manhandled postseason by a smaller Debs team to place all the blame on GG while taking no personal responsibility for playing yellow. The heading for this topic should have read "I was wrong about the Orge!".
