Breaking news on nfl.com is that micheal vick has been ordered by roger goodell not to report to camp. Is this the beginning of the end for micheal vick??
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/10266380
It says that Vick is not to report to training camp PENDING the outcome of a review by the league.
Is it possible that this review could conclude say in the middle of training camp? Also what are the consequences that could come as a result of this review?

Vick is a mess. If he had balls he would retire and save his face. Be a man. Also hopefully the league doesn't let him play because what he did torturing those dogs is sick, and he should serve a sentence for.
This is just the start of the Falcons seperating themselves from Vick. His days with Atlanta are numbered but if by some miracle he beats the charges some team is going to take a chance.

Missingcamp. even part of camp, with new offensive system = VICK IS DONE AS STARTER FOR OPENING OF SEASON
I think this is the begining of the end for this season....then its a matter of whether he can beat the charges or not, if he can, he plays again, if he doesnt, he will never play in an NFL game again....

QUOTE (BearsFan1)

Federal prosecuters have 99% conviction rate, He is guilty as sin, and is going down.

its only 99% if you count those that they get to enter a guilty plea....counting those they take to trial, its more like 95%....which means Vick has somewhere between no and no chance

Ill count the ones that admit they are guilty. Shows that this indictment weighs enough evidence that 1 in 20 give up before going to trial. If he spent as much time learning to throw as he did smashing dogs heads into the ground, maybe he could have been a good QB
Maybe if his dogs didnt take on so much of his play style, (ie:running away at the nearest sign of danger) he wouldnt have to electricute so many

QUOTE (TheBeef)

Maybe if his dogs didnt take on so much of his play style, (ie:running away at the nearest sign of danger) he wouldnt have to electricute so many
rumor is that the real reason he killed them wasnt that they wouldnt fight, but he was throwing them squeeky toy, and he couldnt complete a single throw.

Thank Goodness there is Joey H to the rescue.I am waiting for all the cracks from the Upper Peninsula.

I think that if stuff doesnt start looking good for him REAL soon, that his days in the NFL are over. wether he actually was involved in the fight or not will always be desputed, but that fact it was on his property..... i think he will serve a little time and that will be it. but no NFL team is going to want to have a player on there team that has been tagged as beeing involved in dog fighting.
It is a federal indictment. If he serves a little time, it could be like 5 years in jail. I hope he doesnt hold the soap like the loaf of bread he makes the football.
