    JMHO:

If you visit the link below and watch the first video of Riley on the UCLA game, then drop down to the first Chip Kelly video (on expansion and UA) some glaring differences in the two coaches jump out at me:

    1. Body language. Chip is confident, speaks clearly, makes direct eye-contact with the media and even jokes around. He stands upright and holds his head level. Riley is hunched over, looks down, doesn't make any eye-contact, stumbles for words and has "ums and uhs" inserted with a lot of his sentences.

    2. Prep. I believe Chip is entering an area where media is allowed so he stops to talk. He identifies specific things Oregon needs to do to be successful with UA and specific strengths of UA - and he even knows UA players names, sizes, etc. He knows the opponents performance history. It's obvious these are areas he's studied and the team has worked on and prepared for (knowledge is power). Riley talks in generalities. He talks about "get stuff going" and needing to play "much more solid all around game." He says there's a lot riding on the opportunity YOU would have by winning and that this is "survival". He seems ill-prepared despite knowing he was walking into a press conference.

Again, just MHO, but one leader comes across confident, educated with the spirit of a champion and the other comes across defeated and just wanting to survive. I've watched Riley a lot over the years and something's amiss. Kelly on the other hand, he's just getting started...
