This is a very soft issue with me. Why the hell cant we get a local owner? This is rediculous. This Ziggy Wilf guy thats going to buy them now really scares me. He says he's not going to move the team, but with Anaheim getting close to getting a new NFL stadium, I can see him moving them if Minnesota legislature doesn't allow a new one.

I would be pissed if they moved them out of minnesota. Of course, since they are playing in a dome, it isnt really like playing in minnesota. Hopefully next owner will "be a man" and get them an outdoor facility.

Yeah, but our state doesnt give in to these owners who want full public funding. This could be a very tough battle, and the Big Inflatable Toilet's lease with the Vikings runs out in 6 years, just enough time to finish the Anaheim stadium.

Yeah the state really shouldnt pay for it, just the people in minneapolis. They are the only ones who see any economic benefit. Even taht is a bit iffy. Owner should be able to pay for it no problem. Too bad, I see this team really tanking for next 20 years 4-5 wins a season, and that wont get the fans to pay the money.

4-5 wins a season for next 20 years??? Seems a bit extreme.

Haha. I respect the Bears. Mainly because I love their D. I heard they are close to cutting RW, is this true?

Not sure, it is a possiblity but they arent decided. We dont need him, have so many good young players in secondary. Plus, without Moss and Walker, there are no real deep threats left in division except Roy Williams and he has Harrington throwing ball so not much to worry about.

Hopefully Troy Williamson will be a deep threat for the Vikes.

Oh come on now. I like his chances if Charles Tillman is defending him all game.

I remember moss said that, and had a game winning TD knocked out of his by the very player he dissed.

How did I know you'd bring that up. If Culpepper threw that ball towards Moss's back shoulder, nobody would even know who Tillman is.

It was a great call. Tillman just made a great play. Oh yeah, how many Yards and TD's did Pepp throw last year?

No I didnt. I just said Culpepper made an inaccurate throw. All those TD's and Yards resulted in them being the last NFC North team standing. A lot better than the Bears did last year, if I am not mistaken. :cheesey:
