Villanueva, Yi An Effective Pairing

In the last two games, coach Larry Krystkowiak has provided glimpses of a possible new twist in the rotation: playing Yi Jianlian and Charlie Villanueva together in certain situations. But contrary to what some might expect, they were not manning the two forward positions together. When Krystkowiak has played Yi and Villanueva at the same time, it has been at power forward and center.

"You could say that we have a two-headed power forward," said Krystkowiak, whose 7-4 team sits atop the Central Division by percentage points. "I'm not sure that they couldn't both start playing at the same time ... depending on matchups and stuff, they may be able to play (power forward and center)." -- Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
