Don't know if it would work but I find it interesting so here.
    V ince Carter TRADE.
We'd get two young players I like in Brandon Bass and Maurice Ager, cap relief and a first. They'd get VC. Lets be honest, Dallas can afford it and might actually improve them enough to really compete in the playoffs.

Not saying its gonna happen but it wouldn't be a bad trade idea and would help to get us in a better postion for the future.

As low as VC has sunk, thats a horrible trade.

We still have to buy out Stack, his contract is pretty bad for what he brings.

    What a poor trade.

Again, trading Vince right now is a TERRIBLE idea. He is hurt. Why does everyone so readily forget his last two seasons, when Vince carried the team offensively, and had the two highest-scoring seasons in Nets history? I have no problem trading him, but you'd be giving him away.

You know, this is off on a little tangent, but everyone criticised Vince when he would get hurt all the time--now, since becoming a Net, he has played nearly every game--and more than pretty much every other first-tier SG player in the league--and yet now he is getting criticised because his performance is down. You can't have it both ways. He is hurt. Either he plays, or he doesn't play. Which do you prefer?

Stop making so much sense, Dumpy.

Precisely. His trade value is at an all time low at the moment because he is INJURED. The man has been nothing but a trooper for the Nets since he joined the team. Sprained ankles aren't chronic (see Jefferson, Richard) so if there is any time to re-assess Carter it is next year when, as expected, he rebounds.

That would be the whole idea. Like I said I just thought it would be funny cause it would piss Kidd off. We'd clear 10 mil in cap after Stack buyout, get two young players and a draft pick.

Not saying it's gonna happen just thought it be funny.
I believe Carter is a Net til at least next January.

That was a great use of grammar. [IMG]

+1 on Dumpy's post. Why trade Vince at his lowest?
