I was reading an ESPN article titled Which bottom-top 10 teams could win it all in the future. It noted that if Charlotte were to pick Vince Carter their lineup would feature a deadly combo: Okafor, Morrison, Wallace, Felton, and Carter. VC is a free agent after this season. What do you guys think are the chances Carter signing with the Bobcats? Here is the Link: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?page=nba2010_champs
I think he will saty in New Jersey. If he leaves, (not saying that he will) for more money he would go to Orlando. If he wants to be the main start he would go to Charlotte.
I hope he goes to orlando. they would be my new favorite team. A carter Howard combo would be DEADLY.
I don't want to go near him....He messes up the flow of hte game with constant 1v1's that usually aren't in his favor and would slow our fast breaks down with pointless 30 ft jumpers
Really hope not. The cats are one my fav teams, if they get Carter it'll ruin them. He's completely opposite of the kind of players Bernie has assembled, not to mention he'll take a huge chunk of cash away from the club.
Part of me would love him here, part of me wouldn't, because he'd take away minutes from Wallace and/or Morrison..although it would put those butts in the seats, and would prolly attract the diehard Carter fans...it's pretty much a toss up to wheter it'd be worth it or not. Part of me says no, the other says yeah.
Bobcats are better off with the team they have and building upon it rather than acquiring a superstar which ruins the teamwork they have built up on so far.
I think it depends on how many years Carter wants and how much money. As well if the bobcats do well this year, it doesn't seem worth it to risk messing up a good thing.
VC wants a title thats why he left toronto and he's going to stay at new jersey cos he probably feels as if he is making progress there. I doubt he'll leave NJ for Cha or Orl unless something drastic happen and the bobcats would have to do well this year and jordan would have to sweet talk him
