<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Fox's Mike Kahn, who just last week opined that the Nets would have a hard time with the Heat, this week thinks New Jersey is "for real" and could threaten Miami's hold on the second seed. And he says the Nets could even threaten the Pistons in a playoff match-up. One reason, says Kahn is the defense of Vince Carter! I don't know, I think what we are seeing is that VC is definitly a capable defender. When be wants to, or is motivated, he does a mightly fine job. The question will be whether he can keep his motivation going.

Never thought I'd see the day.

Good for him. Although Mike Kahn isn't the most credible journalist out there.

It's not hard to go from barely playing to playing some and calling it "inspiring". He still has a ways to go.
