QUOTE

It has been almost three years since the Raptors traded Vince Carter to New Jersey and it seems like the Toronto media has finally let Vince be. As the two teams play tonight, the focus just might be elsewhere. And perhaps the biggest reason for Carter’s happiness in New Jersey is that when things go wrong, it’s not always all on his shoulders, thanks to his backcourt-mate.

and I heard the Pearl Harbor attack is no longer the story in Hawaii and Clara's cow is no longer the story in Chicago. Get over it already.

The focus wasn't on VC last year's games either, until we faced the Nets in the playoffs. But I blame most of that resulting hype on ESPN more than our local media. Even though he's still universally disliked in Toronto, everyone's basically moved on (mainly because the Raps have become a good team once again). That said, he'll still get booed.
