Frequently I get a tab popup when I'm browsing the internet. I downloaded a free version Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, and it has gotten rid of viruses several times now, but they keep coming back. What should I do?
Don't use Internet Explorer. It has always been the most vulnerable browser to the worst kinds of exploits.
Firefox released 8 patches in the past couple of days. To keep ahead of exploits they have as well. Different ones than IE...
Can you link me to the latest one? But, I'm thinking I have a hidden virus somewhere sitting in my computer.
Seriously, I have no idea what to do. It keeps coming back. Maleware keeps finding it, while Trend Micro scans and finds nothing.
Tab popups every minute or two. I think I might have gotten rid of it. I ran SUPERAntiSpyware in safe mode, and got rid of it...I think.
uninstall then reinstall firefox from scratch. Probably need to find where it stores its addons and settings, too. See the announcement I just posted, too.
It has nothing to with Mozilla. My PC is infected with Adware Vundo Variant, and Trojan Alert.. I would reboot my whole PC, but I can't lose Microsoft Office.
