Vitor Belfort hasn't fought in over a year due to a string of injuries and that trend continues today as he's withdrawn from his fight with Yushin Okami at UFC 122. The nature of his injury is unknown at the moment. The bout against Okami was a title-eliminator and presumably still will be as the UFC searches for a replacement for Chael Sonnen who recently tested positive for steroids and is looking at a lengthy suspension. Marquardt was defeated by Sonnen at UFC 109 in February but is 5-2 since losing to champion Anderson Silva at UFC 73 in 2007. Marquardt fought last week at Fight Night defeating Rousimar Palhares by first round TKO. Okami is 6-2 since 2007 and is the only UFC fighter with a win over Silva, defeating him by disqualification in 2006. Silva is on a UFC record-setting streak which includes 7-straight title defenses and 12-straight victories.
