<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">But for old time's sake -- or old-timer's sake -- the league's coaches, who choose the All-Star reserves next week, should consider pooling their center votes and rewarding Vlade Divac and Brad Miller for every pass exquisitely thrown. And every unselfish moment. And every absolutely gorgeous basketball sequence that they have jointly orchestrated throughout the first half of the season.

    Divac, he's the master.

It all goes back to Divac, at least, for a while longer. Though he turns 36 next week, according to the unofficial birth certificate, the 15-year veteran still initiates the offense more creatively than any center in the game, and on occasional nights, when he feels spry, healthy, eager, he virtually dictates the tenor of the offense.</div>

They won't make it IMO. The West needs two centres only and those are Yao and Shaq.

Probably the best passing center in the league. That and Yao, Shaq seems to do it very well too. So entertaining to watch, so many centers deserve a place, but you'll never see him outperform Shaq or Yao, even in his prime. Plus he's just too slow. His effort deserves it, so does his entertainment, especially his flops, but he just doesn't seem to cut in my eyes. Like Francise said, Yao and Shaq.

I agree with everything you just said. Being in the Western Conference, you're going to have to have a dominant center like the two you mentioned. Plus, he's old and it's probably gonna start to show.....if it hasn't already
