realistically watching them play this spring all 3 are ready and should start with the big team. Even if its just to see Dominguez until Bader gets back and if he's overmatched send him to triple A for more seasoning. I don't think he will be. Volpe should be our starting shortstop and peraza our third baseman. Hal needs to find his balls and save cashman from himself by buying out Donaldson, hicks and IKF. And by the way Hal after his performance the last 12 years how the hell did you think extending cashman for another 4 years was the right move!!
I’d be ok with IKF to third, his natural position, put Volpe or Perrazza at SS and the other at second. Then trade gleyber with hicks and/or Donaldson then buyout the other one that wasn’t traded.
I believe the Martian IS ready for the Big time and bright lights. He's one reason to pay Hicks and Donaldson off and send them home permanently. I agree with the aforementioned. Dominguez was destroying ST. His numbers are only expected by a player from another Planet! 21 AB and 21 TB .426 B'AVG and .500 OBP% 8 Runs in 10 Games with 4 HR's over a 5 game period. WTF Start Him Opening Day!!!
^^^ We can always count on Cashman to make the wrong decision...he constructs the roster and starting line-up based on the size of player's contract instead of actual production. That's his way of giving the illusion that his past moves have merit and are justified.
