After a six-week stay in injured-player limbo, Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict was formally moved to the team's injured reserve Tuesday as he continues to recover from October surgery on his left knee. It brings an end to a grossly underwhelming season for the former undrafted free agent who made it to the Pro Bowl last year, his second season in the league. Asked Monday about Burfict's prognosis for the rest of the season, coach Marvin Lewis said, "We'll see him when everybody says he's ready to play or is good enough to play."
