Why move away from Nurk for a player that is comparable? If you are moving away from Nurk then move to a more mobile center that can score.
If we move away from Nurk I just want a guy that can defend the perimeter and the rim. With our defense that has so much switching, either Nurk or Vuc are a liability.
The three is a luxury that I would be OK with sacrificing, dunking the ball virtually every time he goes up in the paint would be a must.
Like who? I see a lot of people want to upgrade the center position, but fans don’t really want to spend the money it would take to really upgrade the center position.
My point exactly. Why move away from Nurk at this point unless you want to give up pieces or pay the money to get much better.
Nurk is not the problem. He’s not perfect but he’s not where the emphasis on reshaping the roster needs to be placed. Swap out Ant for a true SF who is a significant scoring threat and can defend bigger SFs, move Hart to SG where he belongs until Sharpe ultimately displaces him and I’m happy with the starters. The bench is another story.
