Wade Miley worked himself into a jam with a rare walk and a pitch that nearly got sent over the wall. Instead of pulling Miley, Arizona manager Kirk Gibson left him out there, wary of using his thin bullpen but also confident that his rookie left-hander could wriggle out of it. Turned out to be a great decision. Miley stranded runners at second and third in the eighth inning and outpitched Matt Garza, helping the Arizona Diamondbacks complete a three-game sweep with a 5-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Sunday.
