<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"You've got two players that are different and unique," Paxson said. "We have a lot of different needs. We need leadership on our team; we need scoring. "At point guard, it's difficult to find terrific players who can lead your team and make others better. But you also have a kid that's a flat-out scorer, and we've seen how valuable those guys are. Again, it's nice to be in this position to evaluate that." Paxson didn't want to speculate on the chances that he might trade the pick but admitted that he has to listen to what people say. One idea that figures to be bounced around is whether Miami would like to rebuild with both Rose and Beasley while sending Dwyane Wade back home to Chicago. Paxson did hint at making some personnel changes on the existing roster sometime soon.</div> http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=194647 Hell, I'd ship off Thomas and Sefolosha with that pick for Wade. Interesting idea, doubt Miami pursues this. But say we trade just Thomas and filler with this pick (Hughes maybe?, and take back Banks...) PG-Ben Gordon/Thabo Sefolosha SG-Dwyane Wade/Thabo Sefolosha SF-Luol Deng/Andres Nocioni PF-Drew Gooden/Andres Nocioni C- Joakim Noah/Aaron Gray Then whatever we get for Kirk. I would definitely take Wade over Rose. Still have to evaluate whether to take Beasley or Wade.
Why would Miami do that? Wade is a proven commodity, and they have the chance to match him up with another potential superstar....would you rather had Wade and Beasley/Rose or Beasley and Rose + fillers?
Wade's only 26 years old. This makes absolutely no sense for the Heat to do...unless it was a 3-way trade, and they get someone like Dwight or Amare. (AKA not happening...not even in your dreams) <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BG7 Lavigne @ May 24 2008, 08:19 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I would definitely take Wade over Rose. Heat have all the medical records on Wade, so they would be in a position to make an informed decision whether or not his injuries are going to seriously hinder me. However, if Paxson just listened to me, we would have gotten Wade on draft night 2003.

I dont think it would be a good move for the Bulls, if they had the #2 overall pick it would good but passing up Beasley is a mistake.
