Wade really has impressive me... 18 pts 8 rebounds 4 assist 4 blocks 5 steals..... This guy will be awesome...
From what I can tell, he is going to be the starting PG. So he'll have a great opportunity to do well this year. It's just the pre-season but those stats are really impressive.
May I suggest www.spellcheck.net/ in this thread? I was the only one out of nbadraft.net and espn.com to have Wade going to the Heat, no one (noone is not how you say it) else had him pegged that high. Great PRESEASON game one, lets see how game 2 will look for him.
I think that we can assume that posters here know how to spell. I just think that people are sloppy. What's important is to hold each other to a high standard. There is no shame in a typo but what gets me in the continual misuse of the language. For example: there, they?re and their. Each word is distinct and has a specific use and is not to be confused with its phonetic brother. I support King James in his stand for the legibility of all posts. As for the topic, I hope that Wade has a great year. I?d love to see Miami do well this season and he looks like he could be a key ingredient to their spicy mix. (get it? spicy?as in hot? the Heat! MIAMI!?never mind )
I can't wait to see if he has a good year, I really hope he does. He was my favorite player comming from the draft this year. Great game....
i think wade will be ROY. he sounds like he's looking very impressive. i really wanted the magic to trade up to get this guy, but the heat loves him and it sounds like they picked the right guy.
Melo will still get ROY. Wade has Jones, Butler, Odom. Melo has who? Nene who is to young. Lenerd? Who hoged the ball in Toronto. Camby? has never been much of a scorer. Miller? a pass first guard. Melo will probly be the number 1 option while Wade will be the number 4 option or so.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Did not hear much Wade talk for ROY till after this preseason game. Werid.</div> Actually, in the thread w/ the 03-04 predictions, i posted Wade as ROY.
Well, as of right now he is leading the team in points against the 76ers with 18 points. However, as of right now Iverson is leading the game in scoring with 21 points.
i also think that Wade will be ROY. or at least no.2 in the race. LeBron is impressing everyone so far and even myself can't believe the numbers he put up. I think it just depends on how their teams finish. Like last year, they all thought Caron was the ROY but then Phoenix got to the playoffs and did well so they gave ROY award to Amare. Melo is good but i think he has too much ego and he will put up better numbers but his team has to win. I'm pretty sure Denver has no chance on getting to playoff. So i think it's between Wade and James. If either team can get to playoff, then that will be the deciding factor.
