Was anybody watching the game (he mostly played the first half with few minutes in the second half)? This guy's defense was on fire, he was predicting where the ball was gonna be passed, he was deflecting shots, getting steals, tipping the ball away from ltu which forced it out of bounds sometimes usa was able to steal it, and saving the ball from going out of bounds. I was simply amazed of how great of a defensive game he played, I never knew he had it in him. LTU didn't seem to have an answer for him, they were scared So did anybody watch the first half of the game? If so what did you think? I personally hope he brings his D game back with him to Miami seeing as defense will be one of miami's biggest concerns this season.
Yea, and that block on that center guy whre he timed it perfectly and just hit in the 3rd or 4th row. That really nice.
Wade is playing amazing. He has grasped the team concept and is contributing in any way possible. He is doing better in those Olypmics then Melo and LBJ IMO. Yesterday's game was good for him. Larry should have put him in the 2nd half more. They were ahead by 10 pts with him on the floor. Then Lith caught up when Brown went with Melo and Marbury. As the original poster said, he was doing everything right on defense. He has tremendous skills and insticts, playing for Brown will only help him flourish. You guys are lucky to hav him (Heat fans) because he will be spectacular later on. That block on the center was sick. As well as the steal and dunk. He can only get better.
I saw the whole game and I was breaktaken by Wade's effort and heart on defense... I never saw him play like that in Miami ... He was timing his movement around picks perfectly... anyone see taht steal he got from avoiding the pick??? sweet... The block was just superb that he got on that big man, GREAT help defense. He was like a defensive stopper out there, his man never scored!!! I can't believe Wade, he's goign to be phenomenal next year... i can't wait honestly I'm so excited.
