    Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how high Wade can jump?
    This came to mind but couldn't find any source.

    hmm...looks like my avatar is bothering some peeps...
    I just wanted to know how high wade can jump but i guess i got the answer. 42 is damn truly amazing.

    I don't have a source or anything...but I did read somewhere that said he had a 36 1/2" vertical (highest he's recorded) but the dunk in the playoffs where they announced that he "jumped out of the building" was estimated to be 42"...considering the fact that he was in motion before the jump, I'd stick with 36"

    36 is lower than I thought tho. If 36 is true, he's terrific at using his vertical and turn it into something greater. I don't know but if His wingspan is 6'10" and his vertical is 36, does that mean he could dunk straight up without running before?

    36 is pretty high but i think his is prolly more then that

    Stevie's vert was like 43 or 44 on one of the dunks he did in the 00 dunk contest, that was amazing...

    lol damn i was gonna comment on that avatar as well, that thing really distracts u [​IMG]

    he may have recoreded a 36 in vertical, but that was just standing still, in the playoffs he was running and it always seems like you can get up higher when you are running, that my opinion though

    Running starts always increase your jump. But vert is straight up. So 42 is crazy 2+ feet without bendin the knees? Woot!

    when you do your vertical jump you can bend you knees before you jump.
