There is no way this bum can be on our team next year. We can clear 15 mil by waiving him.

I thought we already used our stretch.

No, we wouldnt save $15M.

We could save $12M this year, but $6M of dead money the next two years after that would be very tough to handle.

We need to try to trade down his or Meyers salary somehow.

Just because he is on the roster doesn’t mean h has to play. Just saying?

ET seems like a good guy, but when he fought his own guy (Zach) for the rebound and Denver got it back for 2, I lost it. We had a chance to go up or tie it (I can't recall), instead they grow the lead. That was a STOP that was desperately needed.

No.

If you trade one you trade Turner.

We need Meyers more.

Did I just say that shit......?
We need Enes, RH, Aminu, and/or Jake more than Meyers and trading down Meyers salary could free up the Full MLE.

I dont think we could attach enough to get rid of him. I just think its time he no longer see’s the court. No one wants ET and our 1st its not high enough to be worth it...

We got a week draft this year I would recommend trade Turner and the 1st round draft choice for a 2nd in this year draft. Late 1st probably won't be any better maybe a early 2nd.

But no ones going to want Turner and our 1st wont be high enough that anyone would take it.

You be surprised in some of this trade that go on in this league. If you get someone to bite they probably will buy him out. But to me it will be a interesting off season.

What would happen if Turner agreed to a buy-out.

Still on our cap?

surely all the other teams that have watched Turner this post season and are looking to tank next season would highly value his ability to turn any lead into an instant 8-10 swing in the opponents favor?

he gives +8 to win resistance whilst coming off the books once his job is done.

also, in no version of the world does meyers ever become more important to this team.

I'd rather play Anfernee at C, and im not even kidding when i saw he'd probably get more rebounds and, potentially, blocks.

He and Jrue are boys. The Pelicans will be looking for a way to keep him happy when moving on from Davis and they will want a lot of picks. Could be a good fit.

The other one I'd like is CJ/ET to San Antonio for Derozan/Bellinelli/filler. CJ would actually work really well with their big defensive PGs.

Boo. I don't like that rule.

Should at least be able to buy him out and stretch the buyout amount.
Well technically you can if the buyout amount is the full amount of his contract, LOL.

With one year left on our bad deals, stretching them now would kill us for 3 years instead of 1. It's so not worth it.

I think there are teams that would like one more pick. They would tank anyway so why not get Turner for a year. They can even buy him out later this season. I don't see why they wouldn't want him if a pick is attached. But for sure you are not getting a 2nd pick back. Nobody would give pick 33 for Turner+25.

Check out his and the bench plus minus from the last game, he runs the offense behind Dame and does a good job, I like him and I would keep him
