Davis is making almost 14 million dollars next year, so this deal would require another player(s) on the Celtics side. Hopefully it's Mark Blount.

I like this deal for the Celtics, and hate it if I'm the Bulls. Antonio Davis gives the Celtics an enforcer and veteran presence. This move also sticks Walker against a playoff competitor and Walker will surely disrupt the chemistry in Chicago. He will take shots away from Hinrich, Gordon, and Deng. Unloading Blount in the deal is another added bonus for the Celtics. With him off the books and Baker's remaining contract off after 2006/07, the Celtics can become a player in the free agent market.
