<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> But that possibility now appears doomed as Walker, a league sources said, is heading to Atlanta for guard Jason Terry and forward Alan Henderson.</div> Full Article Courtesy of Fred Kerber/The New York Post It's actually an article invoilving a trade with Kidd, and Walker in the deal, but because they see him going to ATL, it might not happen. This also dashes our hopes because of recent reports of him coming here. Still, it is the NBA and anything could happen.
I'm actually a little relieved that's he's not coming to Philadelphia. I think Antoine Walker is the most overrated player in the NBA. He doesn?t necessarily have good work ethic, everyone talks about how Allen Iverson likes to jack up shots but Walker is something else. However, maybe he would fit well with the Sixers being as that he meshed will with the Celtics under O'Brien coaching style, but even if that?s the case, I just wouldn't want him here. He's just not my type of player. And with his size, he should be doing more damage in the low post. And I honestly don?t know what?s running through his mind, he is always hanging around the perimeter thinking he?s a guard. Somebody needs to smack sense into him.
I saw this at the mavs forum te info about this trade. I think that it may fall through though do to objections by walker's agent and walker him self. It would be like the TO trade to the eagles he got traded to baltimore, but when he threatened to hold out and all of that they were forced to undo the trade and trade him o the eagles. If this trade doesnt fall through though I see the mavs doing this as a possible move to try and get kidd over there. Now that they have terry on the team they could include finely who becomes expendable in the kidd trade making it possible for them to take on kidds contract while also removing some ofthere own troubles. I think the sixers should try and forcus there attnetion on smaller under rated free agent names. Who are still on the market like a good vertern back up power forward in case someone gets injured. Or someone like a keon clark who could help dalembert develope his blocking skill and improve the teams over all defense.

He is a very underrated defender IMO. Ya I also am relieved to see that WAlker isnt coming here as he is overrated. Ya we could use a good shot blocker too. Dalembert is still developing. A good veteran shot blocker could be useful.
I have said time and time again that Keon will most likely not come over here due to the fact of his troubles with the team before, and his overall attitude. He was supposed to come to Philadelphia last year, but the team as a whole decided it wasn't the best fit, we're talking about last year when the team fell apart. He is known to have off-court and even some on-court problems with teamamates, and the staff. He is a decent player, great defensive player but I do not think that he would mesh in well with the team.
I am 100% glad...Walker is someone who just jacks up 3's all day, he doesn't play D! But I don't understand the Atlanta deal that was in the first post...Why does Atlanta need another PF/SF...They got Al Harrington, Josh Smith, Josh Childress, and now Walker (if the deal goes through)...And they wounder why they are in the lottery every year.

Like Vince or somebody like that. Theres something up in Atlanta me thinks.
yeah, not a great loss. i'd prefer robinson to stay, play like crap and get moved to the bench to make room for andre.
I dont really care,I think he could have been an ok with the Sixers becaus e he could fit well in Jim Obrien's system. Now I am glad he is not coming here because the Mavs wouldnt have traded him to us unless they got one of are young players back and we deffiantly didnt need to do that.
