Injured his ACL. Could miss the year their not sure yet. This shows giving a contract would of probably made the Packers look like idiots and this also shows he looses a lot of leverage in getting a new deal as well. Either way it's a loose-loose situation right now for the Packers and Walker. Hopefully its not as bad as they think.

I hate to hear that for Javon. I'm not sure why the Packers would have looked like idiots if they had given him a new contract. Does this mean that Javon is the idiot for playing without having gotten a new contract? I just hope the injury isn't that serious. I think Javon is clearly the Packer WR with the biggest upside.

    My point is it's a loose-loose situation.

You mean a lose-lose situation. A loose situation is what Michael Vick-Mexico found himself in this past off season.

If i have a bad deal and come of a great season, i definately hold this example in my head and hold out till i get new deal or week 9(that way you still get service year off contract)

That would seem to be the moral of this story.

Wow this isn't good, If Ferguson can stay healthy and actually use his arms to catch a ball i will lessen the blow. The sucks for Walker man having to sit out a year possibly jeez.

Again the Packers could of given him the new deal and then he could of got hurt but had his money and then just flop. See Joe Johnson and Cledius Hunt if your a Packer fan. So either way no one wins! Either way the Packers probably are going to need Robert Ferguson to step up and Terrance Murphy to get on the field.

    THE FACE OF DEFEAT
Brett Favre is consoled by guard Adrian Klemm (70)who was <u>signed for the veteran minimum</u>. Think he's missing his Pro Bowl guards?

haha you'd a better hope cause like it or not Lions have never beaten Favre in Lambeau and they will never beat Favre in Lambeau.

I stand corrected. I mixed Klemm up with O'Dwyer ... not much difference though. [IMG] You guys a hurtin for certin on the O-line.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Klemm came relatively cheap ? just an $800,000 signing bonus and a two-year, $2.6 million deal ? because his first five years in the NFL have been ruined by injuries.

The 6-foot-3, 320-pound lineman has missed 54 of a possible 80 regular-season games since the New England Patriots drafted him in 2002.</div>

Even more accurate thanks for the numbers! Yeah but your definatley right our O-line is in serious trouble if they don't jell together soon. I thought Klemm would be good but he played worse than the Rookie Whitticker. I hope this was just growing pains for a new unit, plus we were playing one of the better D lines in the league. however do you think its fair to say our D played decent against you guys?

The defense held Detroit to 254 yards of total offense. I'd say that's pretty good.

Both offensive touchdowns were set up by turnovers in Packers territory, too. Detroit didn't move the ball very well all day.

The defense played well enough to win the game, but the offense just couldn't get it done.

I'm not sure about that yet. I'm not a big Joey fan, and maybe it was his inability to find open receivers. They did keep Jones from breaking a long one. I think if we trade QB's before the game the Lions win 34-0.

Yep same here lol, Harrington seemed to play decent at time but at other times seemed a little lost, but your O-line did a pretty good job against KGB and Kampan although they didn't do too shabby themselves.

haha coming from someone who was doing a lot of hyping just a little big ago. In all serious your right about that. Switch the QB's and the Lions are clearly the better team. As for the o-line they didn't play as bad as I though they did. Sherman was calling horrible plays. Ahman Green averaged closed to 5 yards a carry if Green Bay is going to go any wheres why not run the ball. I mean it was a close game all day. Favre threw to much which is why he took so many hits. Hopefully we run the ball against Cleveland and get the W. 1-1 is the worse I expected to start with the lost coming to Detroit. If Cleveland beats us in Lambeau. Good-Bye! Season over!

Sherman actually wasn't calling the plays to my knoweldge, I believe it was the Offensive Coordinator.
