I cannot stand Antoine Walker's game..everything he does it ugly...he puts up ugly shots and always has. If the Mavs trade anyone they should dump Walker and keep Jamison.
I will say the Mavs will never win a championship with Antoine Walker. He makes too many bad shots and his defence is deplorable(bad). It was a good trade though getting rid of Lafrentz but Walker is horrible in general.
You have to agree with me when I say hes that scoring in the paint that we needed as well as Jamison, but knowing Nelson hes going to trade Jamsion and bench Walker.

I liked him at UK,but he seems to have not gotten any more versatile and worse on the defensive end. I just dont like his game at all. I like Jamison for the Mavs more because hes more grounded and not in love with his three point shot (Have I mentioned how ugly of a shooter Walker is? :mrgreen: )
Walker has an ugly jump shot, but is versatile...a 6'9" forward who can play point guard, rebound and score...his main weaknesses are shot selection and lackadaisical defense...but his versatility is likely a major reason why Jamison and not him will be traded...
I also am one who hates Walker's game. He's a talented player, I can't discredit him on that, but as you all said his shot selections are horrible. Any time he has the ball, I wouldn't be surprised if he took a three immediately. If he backs off the 3 game, I think it would help him a lot and would start getting looked at more seriously. My cousin went to high school in chicago with this guy, and from what I've heard from him he's a real dick anyway, so I could really care less about him though.
He's like an NVE gone wrong, meaning taking shots he shouldn't but unlike NVE, not making them. I really hate this guy, he seems to have no heart and effort. His skill was such a waste. Plus Dallas has some of the best offense in the league, why would they need someone crap like him?

I don't trust him with the ball in his hands at critical moments. He's more likely to jack up a three than to try and find the open man...
