Saw an article by my old buddy Wallace Matthews claiming that Steinbrenner, Cashman and Girardi are not admitting that the'16 Yankees are a bad team. I beg to differ with Matthews, the tadpoles and Cashman may be delusional, and the fans know better as well. After seeing video on last nights game we saw the Yankees come unglued again and many empty seats. And no matter what anyone thinks about Girardi one way or another I'll go on record stating that he knows his team better than anyone. Joe knows he's been handed a bag of shit. Every time he sends someone out to get something done the end result is failure. Unlike the alleged owner and his GM Lurch, Girardi has to eat, sleep, plan and hope his charges execute. To this point they have no and Joe knows, he sees it every day. Like Girardi or not the man is a champion. He was a nice player for the Yankees helping his team earn rings and there fore knows when a team is put together correctly. So screw you Wallace, Joe knows more than anyone that this team can't deliver, and he deserves better.
