He'll be having knee surgery soon. More PT for Gerald!

I wouldnt call it a disappointing season. He still scored a good amount of points and had the best assist numbers of his career.I find this good for Boston in a way. Sure they lost a solid player but there season is over and this gives Green a chance to develop for next season.

The Celtics might as well look for a draft pick. They are young and could develop in a few years though Pierce would be past his prime by than.

Wally has really proved himself from when being on the Wolves. And now Green just gets playing time so it helps them in the long run.

It'll be interesting to see how Gerald reacts to a regular spot in the rotation. He'll likely be guarded by Kyle Korver tonight, so he should be able to score a little bit.

This coming up draft is looking pretty low in terms of talent. I'm pretty sure Celtics fans would rather try to make a serious run the playoffs than get a good pick in a weak draft. They already have the right pieces in place in terms of youth.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions. DA knew Wally had injury problems when he traded for him.

Yeah....by this point the celtics really dont have a chance to make the playoffs anyways but i think that is a good thing for them.....They wouldnt make it past the 1st round anyways and even tho this draft is very weak.....you need to test your luck in the lottery...u never know, they could LUCKILY get a top 5 pick and even with a weak draft u could pick up a good player...

If the celtics got lucky in the lottery, i'd guarantee they'd pick Bargnani. He'd actually be apretty solid player. He'd give us some size, and he hustles every where. I've seen a little clip of him and i was impressed.Although Danny did say the guy he was looking for was/is expected to go 12th or 13th. He also said he likes it when a player loses some draft stock bc of a bad game in the tourney. God, i hope he wasn't talking about JJ..

I have to much faith in Ainge's drafting ability to think that though, except I'm still a bit upset he took Banks over Ridnour.
