The Timberwolves might be willing to offer Wally Szczerbiak for the pick (#4). The Hornets are actually one of the few teams that would have the cap room to absorb Szczerbiak's contract.</div>

Sounds like a nice trade for the TWolves. They would be able to get Chris Paul, Deron Williams, or Ray Felton at #4. Not sure if the Hornets want to tie themselves up with Wally's contract, but he brings immediate help to the team.

    Dickau-JR Smith-Wally-PJ Brown-Magloire is a solid starting 5.

Horrible trade for the Hornets IMO.

They have a chance to take a point guard in Paul, Williams or Felton who they can have in place for 10 years. Wally is a nice role player, but he has plenty of limitations and is not worth a top five pick.

Maybe Wally, #14 and a future first.

I don't like the trade for the Hornets, but Paul, Deron, and Felton will likely end up as nice role players just like Wally. Besides the Hornets can still go into next season with Dickau and Speedy Claxton as their point guards. Wally shoots a high percentage from the field, the 3pt line, and the FT line. He's also a well rounded player getting rebounds and assists to go along with his points. He's also improved defensively and would help open the inside for Magloire.

Yeah that is a horrible trade for the Hornets if I was going to take Wally I would have to have atleast the 14th pick and maybe another pick.

Good trade for the Wolves, terrible for the Hornets. In a rebuilding process you would think that the top picks would be the first priority into rebuilding. The last player the Hornets need is Wally, he is solid yeah but is aging and he will probably not even want to play for the Hornets. Keep your top 5 pick and draft a promising player.

Man if we can find a sucker to trade Wally, I would be happy.

I expect Wally to be here. No team would want his overinflated contract.

As for Chad Ford, what a dope. He could not be serious either. Why would New Orleans trade their draft pick, who they can build around for a guy that is a hit or miss and the fact his knees are slowing him down.
