Smart way to play it. Now let's see who is dumb enough to believe them.

What do you mean who's dumb enough to believe them?

He's in fantastic shape. Why would they lie about whether he's in shape or not?

Good news for the Knicks. As much of a headcase he can be, if he's focused on basketball, he's still got the talent and ability to be a damn good player in this league, it's just a matter of if his brain is in the right place, which it hasn't been recently.

Why should people be impressed than an NBA player is in shape? Almost all NBA players are in shape, with the exception of someone who is coming off of surgery or the occasional Tractor Traylor. Can Marbury still run an offense and listen to his coach? Can he get along with his teammates and be the leader that he should be at this stage of his career?

Don't give me this bull about him being in shape, when I haven't been impressed the past few years.

^Marbury is reported to be in the best shape of his life. 197 pounds is as light as he was since high school. Not to say we should be impressed, but it's a good sign nonetheless. It shows that he's focused as he should be.

Plus, it's the offseason and there's not much else to write about.
