<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Pacer GM Donnie Walsh said Friday that trade talks for Jermaine O'Neal have died down and that he fully expects the 6'-11" O'Neal to play for Indiana this season. O'Neal had suggested earlier this summer that he would welcome a trade to Los Angeles or New Jersey, then said he didn't want to leave the Pacers.</div> Source So I guess the deal is now officially over.
Not a big deal. O'Neal isn't happy, so it's the Pacers that are losing out. He will eventually demand a trade...if he hasn't done so already. Over the last week or so, I grew more interested in our current roster, and not the one with Jermaine. I'm curious to see what happens, and if we're heading towards a bad season, we can always look to make a deal before February.
