The Lakers are showcasing them to be traded before the Feb. 19th deadline. The Lakers want to move one of them to improve their salary cap position and free up more minutes for Ariza and Vujacic. Apparently the Lakers are trying to put a package together with Mihm being included in the deal. Mihm is viewed as being an underpaid, under utilized big man around the league and including him would make it easier for a team to absorb Walton or Radman's contract.

Walton & Mihm combined would give us $7M in trade value
Radman & Mihm combined would give us $8.5M in trade value
Walton & Radman & Mihm would give us $12.9M in trade value

A team who's been linked to possibly dealing with us is Charlotte. They've been trying to shop Raymond Felton around and the Lakers are in the market for a PG. The Bobcats also want to deal Matt Carroll and Adam Morrison to position themselves to win now.

The Bobcats could certainly use Chris Mihm. They've been in search for a big body and were desperate enough to sign Juwan Howard to play minutes in their front court. Mihm would be a legit 7 footer for them and with consistent minutes he could probably work his way into the starting lineup.

Other players on the trade block Larry Hughes ($13M)

you know, this could actually work, the bobcats are definately desperate enough to take on either of our three unwanted players, although radman i like, he;s cool. anyway, yeah, but does morrisons contract expire soon? and feltons?

Felton's contract ends after this year because the Bobcats didn't extend his rookie deal. The Bobcats are also one of the few teams under the salary cap so they can take back more than they need to send out.

I think Morrison's current deal ends in 2010.

This trade worked with ESPN Trade Machine.

Chris Mihm + Vlad Radman for Sean May + Raymond Felton

Lakers could also included cash and a future 2nd rounder to sweeten the deal for the Bobcats.

Well I'm hoping it's Luke, not Radman...

If the Lakers were planning on shopping them around, then they made a big mistake by moving Vlad to the bench. He was playing the BEST basketball of his career. And unlike Luke, he actually has some value in this league. Luke is pretty much untradable IMO, he gets paid too much and his contract is too long. Beyond that, he is a product of the system. He plays best under the triangle offense, if I'm not mistaken, which is why he's Phil's pet player. Put him in another system and I bet he struggles even more.

I hate Morrison and think he is an awful and terrible player, he can shoot but can't play against tough D. I saw him vs. Pepperdine and he struggled against a senior who averaged 10 min per game but it was senior night so he played. Also he looks like a registered sexual offender. Felton is good but would prefer a "true" combo guard like hinrich.

morrison could be good in thi team though, in the bobcats he is ignored by everybody around him because nobody on the team knows how to pass the ball, i really dont like felton, to me he seems like another marbury in the making, except with only half the talent, he's a ball hog, a point gaurd needs to know how to pass.

radman is okay, but i guess he is worth losing if it improves our bench and/or frees up some cap space. mihm is a gonner, who doesnt know that already, and walton is, well, almost untradeable, but we did trade kwame brown so theres still hope, some teams are pretty desperate. it would be great to package them into one deal where we receice 2 guys back, 2 guys that can actually work in this team, some hard workers, toughness. though bobcats dont have any of them so idk, trading forr sean may is retarded, the guy is too fat to step onto the court, its rediculous. anyway, i cant think of a team that would want/need any of the three guys we are trying to rid ourselves of, except this bobcats deal, which, on reflection, doesnt improve the team one bit, only the cap space.

The Radman experiment is over I'm afraid. He has been mostly a failure, and injured too, for 2.5 seasons. Barring a drastic change he should be gone.

Just wondering Shape, do you have any connections? And what is the probability of a trade going down?

    Yes.

It's hard to trade when you have all these injured players on the roster. I think there's a higher chance we sign a free agent to a 10-day contract.

I, too, would rather see Luke go rather than Rad. But, Rad has just way more trade value compared to LW.
