<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Lakers forward Luke Walton was encouraged Sunday when he was able to do a little walking on his sprained right ankle. He also was secure in his father's love, even if he has to miss a week or so with the injury. Walton offered a window into life as NBA great Bill Walton's son, telling reporters that his father had called twoor three times since he was hurt in Friday's loss to Charlotte. "He loves me no matter what," Walton said. "That's what he told me. He said, `Your body doesn't know it's in the middle of the season. Make sure you get healthy before you come back.' Some good fatherly advice." The younger Walton was relieved the swelling in the ankle was minimal and there was little bruising. The hope is he will return in about a week, although the Lakers play fourgames in five nights to open an eight-game road trip. "This morning, I'm able to put a little bit of weight as I walk, and I couldn't do that yesterday," Walton said. "Hopefully, the healing process will just keep getting better." </div> Source
I'm not too concerned about this now that we've got Odom back. Luke's been in a funk lately, I hope he recovers fully though. I'd really love for Radman to continue to produce like he did in the Spurs game.

Before preceeding to another good game, with another 10 games of horrible play, so on and so forth
I still think Brian Cook should get more minutes or possibly start. He hasn't been in a shooting slump either. I don't understand why Radman started over him and why he only had about 6 minutes in the Spurs game.
He's in Phil's dog house for something. He's had some horrid outings lately. He's looked lazy on defense, sluggish running up and down the court, Radman deserved to start over Cook IMO.

I still think he has more potential than Radman at the moment (or at least, is the better shooter and can spread the floor to a higher degree).
I do agree, I'd take Cook over Radman if you're basing it on the season. Radman's injury and his difficulty picking up the triangle has really hurt him. But, you don't reward Cook for his lazy, sluggish play. Starting Radman helped us, what'd he give us 13 and 7? Now if he can continue doing like that, I have no problem with him starting in Luke's absence.
