War Machine (11-4), the man formerly known as Jon Koppenhaver, plans to return to MMA on October 15th in Chicago at Chicago Cagefighting Championship 4. His opponent is expected to be fellow UFC veteran Gideon Ray (17-13-1). Former Ultimate Fighter contestant War Machine briefly retired from MMA in 2010 to act in pornography. He was charged with felony assault in July of the same year following a street brawl with other people in the business outside of a nightclub and served a one year prison sentence, from which he has now been released. War Machine gained more notoriety with a blog he posted while in prison detailing his living conditions, lessons learned, and life ambitions.
