(AP) -- Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn had arthroscopic surgery for a damaged shoulder that bothered him much of the season. The procedure was performed last week. Dunn will need several months of rehabilitation before he's able to resume football workouts, the team said. But he should make a full recovery. The 10-year veteran started every game for the third year in a row. Dunn had a career-high 286 carries and rushed for 1,140 yards.Three other Atlanta players have undergone surgery since the Falcons finished a 7-9 season: offensive tackle Todd Weiner (knee cartilage), cornerback Jason Webster (hernia) and fullback Fred McCrary (minor knee procedure).</div>
I think Dunn figures to be a third down back for them next year, with Norwood splitting carries with a back they will acquire this off-season

I don't think the Falcons look to bring someone in with Norwood already there, just get him more involved.
