Back to their winning ways- JRich had 25, VC had 22. I didn't watch the game- is there anyone who did?
I did. It was bad since Murphy and Dampier both got hurt, but good (or bad depending on how you look at the draft situation) because they got the win. Murphy had a dislocated finger and Dampier hurt what appeared to be his knee or his ankle. Couldn't tell. It was the Jrich show all night tonight but he had great help from his teammates. So whoever was raggin' on Jrich last night at Philly he must have heard it and stepped up his game when it counted. 25 points, 9 rebounds, and two steals is great for a guard. He had like two buzzer beaters tonight and he was aggressive driving toward the basket which helped get him to the line.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobeonfire:</div><div class="quote_post">haha nice. How long is Murphy out for now, and when is Claxton coming back btw?</div>I doubt Claxton will be back at all. We should know more about Murphy's injury tomorrow. I hope this doesn't hurt our playoff chances.
Haha my friend was all hyped up about the last 7 games saying you never know, the warriors might pull off a miracle and get that final 8th seed playoff spot somehow. I'm like "Jrich said the same damn thing about miracles happening that you never know and that they could make the playoffs. You know what I'm thinking now that the league has probably heard that comment? They're going to start issuing a mandatory drug testing policy next year". Oh well the warriors have one thing to be glad of this year. The Wizards won't go to the postseason either after Arenas promised he would get his team to the playoffs. That comment at the beginning of the year was a self induced jinx.
^ hahaha nice. Yeah I'm glad that Arenas probably realizes what a good situation he had, almost making the playoffs in the west, to being one of the worst teams in teh EAST.
It sure felt good when Arenas got booed this year and the Wizards got blown out in our building.. Arenas got D'd up by Pietrus and couldn't do anything, fouling out early. I mean even though he says that he wanted to stay here, bottom line is that he went for the money, not the place that he said he wanted to be.

Show me the money. The thing that pisses me off about it is when they say "I didnt leave for the money."
Seems like Speedy might be back. In the game they said the Warriors didn't sign J.R. Bremer to a third 10 day contract. Any chance that Damp's value is gonna be low enough that if he doesn't opt out he gets paid more here? Damp has talent but what a lousy guy if what he did this year was play to up his value. He has talent, don't we all agree?? Sure he has greased hands, but it seems like he can play D and match up against any other big man in this league on the defensive end. Hah, my dreams of a 17 game win streak gone. I'm still hoping to match last years win total though. This would be an amazing feat.
^ Yeah it would, because all the people predicted a horrible season WITH OUR WHOLE TEAM PLAYING. With all teh injuries if we matched our total last year, we'll shut all the haters up.
Even though it hurts our draft chances, I would rather see us keep playing hard. It definately is something to build upon come this summer. Go Warriors!
The Warriors don't do that well with top draft choices anyway. They rule when it comes to the second round and mid first rounders though. Pietrus at the 11th pick and Gilbert Arenas in the 2nd round was awesome. Jiri Welsch wasn't bad. He's a way better shooter than Dunleavy IMO and more athletic.
^ He's right, look at our history of top draft picks.. Joe Smith with the 1st pick in a year with KG, Rasheed, Stackhouse... Dunleavy at the 3rd pick last year when Gooden, Stoudemire, Nene, were all on the board still... but we're fairly good when it comes to mid-first round picks and second rounders.
