<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The San Antonio Spurs overcame a slow start against the Golden State Warriors by leaning on their quickest players and a not-so-fast veteran reserve. San Antonio's backcourt of Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili each scored 21 points Saturday night, including 15 straight in a furious rally in the second quarter, in leading the Spurs to a 104-85 victory over the Golden State Warriors. With his team trailing 41-27, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich turned to Barry for a lift. Barry, who played fewer than 10 minutes in four of the team's previous five games, responded by helping San Antonio go on an 18-2 run.</div> Recap Anyone enjoy Speedy and Parker going back and forth at each other? was quite fun to watch. The part I quoted in bold is key, Barry struggled and really brought some energy and helped the Spurs comeback.

Im really pissed at the way Pop is handling Barry , he keeps on saying that Barry will come around and that he will bust out of this slump but how can he say that then not give him a chance to do so?He's hardly even playing him , and when he does he puts too much pressure on him...he plays him for like 6 minutes , and if he doesnt produce he doesnt see playing time again.6 minutes to prove urself=not cool. I love D-Brown , he home-grown and everything but damn Pop doesnt have to give him all of Barry's minutes.Break them down equally , reward Brown for his good play but dont bury Barry and his confidence cause the Spurs will need his shooting in the playoffs.
