Warriors-Mavs preview7:30 p.m. today, American Airlines Center, FSNSW; ESPN-FM (103.3), KFLC-AM (1270, Spanish)09:38 PM CST on Wednesday, March 22, 2006By EDDIE SEFKO / The Dallas Morning NewsSeries: Tied 1-1 this season; Mavs lead, 63-47, all-timeKey matchupJason Richardson vs. Marquis Daniels: Richardson is in the top 15 in the league in scoring and has been particularly sharp since the All- Star break, averaging 26.4 points in 14 games. He's had four 30-point nights and two over 40. Considering Richardson had 32 points in the Dec. 30 upset at AAC, the Mavs know exactly what he's capable of. He's not just a dunker anymore, although he can still wow a crowd with his high-flying act. Daniels will get the call against him, and this is the kind of matchup in which they might really miss Adrian Griffin.Inside the WarriorsMisleading finish: Remember last season when the Warriors finished with a 14-4 kick? That spawned theories that they would be this season's playoff crashers. Instead, they've just crashed, losing 10 of their last 14. They are 1-8 in road games since Feb. 11, but the lone win was against Miami which, like Dallas, is an elite team.Briefly: Baron Davis, who scorched the Mavs for 34 on Dec. 30, has missed three consecutive games with a sprained right ankle and is not expected to play tonight. ... Ike Diogu of Garland has been one of the most consistent rookies in the league, averaging 6.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in 14.1 minutes for the Warriors.Inside the MavericksRepetition is the key: Jason Terry likes to make 200 shots in the afternoon before a game. On non-game days, he likes to up that to 500 made shots from the perimeter. So how many shots does that usually mean? "Usually 580, 600 at the most," he said. "It definitely pays off, especially in the fourth quarter when your legs get a little weary."Briefly: It's not all basketball all the time for Avery Johnson. State Sen. Royce West presented him with a proclamation from the state of Texas on Wednesday for his community service. ... Johnson on the Warriors' 111-109 win at AAC on Dec. 30: "They scored on us at will. That's something that stuck with us and we refer to many times."PROBABLE STARTERSWarriors Pos. Wow Dirk scored 50 points but it wasn't enough to win the game. Off a missed free throw, jason Richardson jolted up the court, spun around a Mav player and then buried that 3 pointer for the win. This was a top notch game.
He scored 51, and Mavs brokedown last minute. Gave up 12 points and missed 3 fts to boot. I'll credit Warriors for some mercy shots that went in. But one of the things that will standout is Terry's fts at the end of games. For a clutch guy, he's not clutch in hitting fts down late. This is like the 3rd or 4th time this year.Oh well, move on to next team.
Dude I am pissed right now. What the hell was Dirk doing dribbling into another player instead of grabbing the rebound strong. For such a great game Dirk had he choked at the end to give the Warriors a chance to win. Btw another classic performance by Jerry Stackhouse. 0-6. Our sixth man. lol
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Btw another classic performance by Jerry Stackhouse. 0-6. Our sixth man. lol</div>Least he didn't jack shots like he has done. And makes his free throws.
Jason Terry had a great game. He made his shots and was attacking the basket well. He got some 3 pointers for ya.Darrell Armstrong played very good defense for you down the stretch.

I don't know. I was just watching the game and I liked what i saw with the Mavs. Great game too so I have decided to post things about it.
The mavs actually played well tonight but Jason Richardson was unconscious. Just some nights a team is just fired up and nothing you can do to slow down that flame which is the warriors. They rely a ton on 3 pointers and they were falling tonight. :no1:
Anyone see that shot by Derrick Fisher? that was amazing. Didn't count though. Yeah it was just unlucky. You can't blame it on Terry. Just one amazing last second play by JRich.
I guess Melo is the spurs killer even though that is the first time Melo's had success on San Antonio.
I don't even like Goldenstate but that shot was amazing.Poor dirk, now this is the time for him to start yelling at his teamates.
^Why? His team played well, he was the one that turned it over. One ft miss by Jason Terry does not deserve a yelling. The Mavs players' didnt lose this one but JRich won it.

I guess he can always live back in the past when he had the most dominant center of all time on his team.

You had that coming with the posts you posted in here.
It's kind of sad that you guys have to take shots at kobe and the lakers simply because J rich silenced you guys.Dirk needs to yell at his teamates, this is the right time. PS: Stackhouse 6th man of the yearMY <Censored> :HAHAHA:edit: They let in 120+ points, his teamates derserve a spanking. My discussion with rokmelo061: kobe doesn't yell at his teamates, he glares then drops 81melo061: dirk yells and chokesmelo061: i win
