Tipoff: 5:30 p.m. today at the Alamodome. TV: Fox Sports Net Plus. Radio: 1050. Spurs update: F Tim Duncan, the NBA's most valuable player the past two seasons, returned to the court Wednesday after a six-game layoff because of a thigh injury. He scored nine points on 4-of-10 shooting in 15 minutes of San Antonio's 108-90 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. ``It felt good to get up and down the court,'' Duncan said. . . . While Duncan was out, four players (G Tony Parker, C Rasho Nesterovic, G/F Hedo Turkoglu and F Malik Rose) averaged better than 13 points per game, and Manu Ginobli, in his new role as backup point guard, played better. . . . The new face on the Warriors' bench is G J.R. Bremer, signed to a 10-day contract. He averaged 3.5 points in 31 games for Cleveland this season. Warriors injuries: G Speedy Claxton (hand), C Evan Eschmeyer (knees) and G Nick Van Exel (knee) are out. Spurs injuries: G Alex Garcia (undisclosed), G Jason Hart (knee) and F Sean Marks (knee) are out. This could get ugly folks.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">This could get ugly folks.</div> Especially for Richardson with Bruce Bowen all over him.
The nba needs to make a rule to expand the 15 man roster and 12 man active rotation roster to a greater number of players. We need at least one more backup point guard.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post">Duncan is out again after undergoing tests on his left knee.</div>This may be the break the Warriors needed. Of coarse the Spurs are still the spurs but without Duncan they are a lot more beatable.
While that is true, watching the games the offense is a lot more smoother, Parker, Hedo, Manu get the break going very quickly and have gotten plenty of fast break points. Malik Rose will likely get around 18 and 10 like he has been since Duncan's been out. It's starting to become a worry the way Tim keeps having these problems with his knee.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post"> It's starting to become a worry the way Tim keeps having these problems with his knee.</div>Understandably so. The Spurs can get by in the regular season without him but come playoff time they will be doomed without TD, especially playing on the road.
With TD out, the warriors have now more chance of winning this one but i still think the Spurs will win this one.The other players;Tony Parker, Rasho Nesterovic, Hedo Turkoglu,Manu Ginobili and Malik Rose, have all played great since TD got injured. They will all help the Spurs win this one.San Antonio by 7.

They beat the Mavs without TD which is pretty impressive.
Nobody can contain Ginobili. JRich will be caught shading him to his left which, bingo Ginobili is left handed and is headed right to the rack. Oh and there he goes again. I'm sorry, I had to rip JRich but the fact is on D he is tremendously slow and rather than try to stay squared up, he gets lazy and tries to compensate by shading the guy one way, which merely invites the guy to either take the free pass or fake that way and cross over, leaving JRich with his feet tangled up. Ugh. Unless Damp becomes a monster underneath and Dunleavy has another huge game, the Warriors will be lucky to stay in it into the 4th.
^ Yeah. I think the Warriors have a chance tonight to finally break their losing streak. Warriors by 4.
Final Score:Spurs 99, Warriors 74 Kevin Willis and Manu played great coming off the bench. The big difference was the trunovers. The warriors turned the ball over 18 times compared to the spurs who only had 7 turnovers. The warriors need to protect the ball better. The spurs lead the game the whole time.Great defense by the Spurs made the warriors shot a horrible 38% from the field.Great game for the Spurs. Another night, another loss. Look at it on the bright side. We saw a solid performance from Murphy. 9 boards, 13 points, 5 of 10 shooting with 1 3 point shot made in 21 minutes. He looks like the Murphy that was with us last season.

Warriors by 4.</div> So much for that . The losing streak continues. I didn't watch the game, but I did turn the TV on during the first quarter. 3 minutes left in the 1st, and the score was 5-7. I had to turn it off. What happened the rest of teh game?
Didn't watch the game. Let me guess they turned the ball over a lot and they got outrebounded and couldn't score. Let me guess, Bruce Bowen took Richardson out of the game.
JRich: 2-11 from the field finishing with 8 points. Damn, I guess Bowen did a good job defending him.
That's the first thing you have to fear if you're on offense against San Antonio, it's Bruce Bowen. That and also making your free throws. Jeez, 60% from the charity stripe? At least Jamison and Arenas made their free throws. This is ridiculous.
