It certainly does seem like a pick for Phoenix BUT what is the deal with them picking Earl Clark? That doesn't seem like who the Warriors would want if that pick is coming back to us. Jrue Holiday and Ty Lawson were still on the board. If Curry goes to Phoenix and we get NO pick in this draft, I'm not going to be happy.
Well, the rumored Suns deal is: Amare Biedrins Bellinelli Wright Curry It's a 4 for 1. We might manage to get someone else thrown in, but not anyone worthwhile.
Ah I guess I shoulda read the other thread before this one. I guess we're still up in the air if anyone other than Biedrins/Belinelli/Wright are included. So, maybe Curry will stay, or he'll be available for other trades.
Both Reilly and Nelson just talked extensively about Curry, and not just in general terms about the player, but specifically about how he'd be used on the Warriors. Some of the things Nelson said: Thought Curry was the best player in the draft outside Griffin Expected Curry would contribute right away out of training camp High basketball I.Q. Great fundamentals Curry will be a full time PG eventually, but will play both guard positions at times (oh boy, Monta all over again) Talked to Dell Curry (Stephen's dad) about coming to the Warriors a few days ago. Dell had "no problem with that" They would have taken Hill if Curry was not available, but Curry was the first choice Thought last year that Morrow would become a better player than Crawford Anyway, after hearing these two talk specifically about Curry in the Warriors system, I'm 98% sure that Curry is not going to be shipped out. If they were trying to hype a player up for a trade, you might do that, but not a new player, and not for some pre-discussed deal like the Amaré one.
Interesting takes. Curry second best player in the draft, future point guard, and Morrow will be better than Crawford. Those are some good things to look forward to, on the assumptions that these guys are correct. Monta is super athletic, Curry is more of a skilled player. But in the sense that they will be playing similar positions, then yeah I guess they are in the same boat.
Yeah, but which Curry did we get? This youtube might make you think twice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRBUTKNtUTI
