PG: Speedy Claxton will need to have a big game tonight and will need to break down Miami?s offense. Also he will need to drive to the hoop and get Shaq in foul trouble. Derek Fisher will need to play well off the bench and will need to lay off the threes and penetrate while he is in.
SG: Jason Richardson will need to have a big game and while he is guarded by Flash Wade will need to use his size to his advantage and return from his off night against Denver. Mickael Pietrus will need to do well coming off the bench and will need some big points.
SF: Mike Dunleavy will need to really do well tonight and will need to avoid lazy fouls and bad shot selection. Calbert Cheany if he plays will need to provide some good minutes and will need his jumpshot to go in for him.
PF: Eduardo Najera will need to do good on the dirty work and will need to get a lot of rebounds and points down low. Zarko Cabarkapa will need to have a big night off the bench similar to the one he had against Denver in which he had 16 points in 21 minutes
C: Adonal Foyle will need to hold onto the ball long enough that he is able to get Shaq into foul trouble and will need to out-rebound him and score some points down low. Dale Davis will need to do the same and will need to get some blocks on Shaq and hopefully get a double-double off the bench.

PG: Damon Jones will have to have a tight handle on Speedy Claxton and will need to keep him from penetrating. Jones will need to have a big night and will need to feed the ball to the big men down low. Keyon Dooling will need to have a big night off the bench as well and tire the Warriors.
SG: Dwanye Wade will need to have a big night scoring big and will need to limit Jason Richardson?s points and take charges. Wade will also need to feed the ball down low to the big man and take on the role of point tonight.
SF: Eddie Jones will need to school Mike Dunleavy and allow him to shoot the ball outside. Jones will also want to drive a lot knowing that Dunleavy fouls a lot and sleepwalks on D constantly.
PF: Udonis Haslem will need to pull down the boards a lot and constantly score down low. The Warriors have no rebounding forces tonight so Haslem will need to take advantage of that. He will also want to run into Adonal Foyle a lot and get fouled.
C: Shaq should have a very big night tonight and will need to pull down the offensive glass and score 30+. Shaq however will need to stay out of foul trouble. Shaq will get fouled a lot as well so Heat fans should hope he practiced his free-throws a lot before the game.

This game will go to the Heat. J-Rich will score 26 and that will be about the only good thing about this game. The final score, 123 to 92.

Nevermind, I saw the courtside live at NBA.com and Fisher is starting at SF. Augh!!!! Start Zarko at PF and leave Dunleavy at SF. And if Monty is expirmenting, take Andris off the IL and start him [IMG]

Well, at least Fisher is playing very well. Also, Jarko is starting to gain his confidence back. His first 3 shots were nothing but a net. Najera had minor back injury, and wasn't expected to play, but played anyway...

Sigh, at least we were close. Dunleavy did well and as did Richardson. Zarko has been doing real good lately. He is defenitly regaining confidence. Pietrus did real good on D. Foyle has been doing horrible when he starts. We should start DD and Zarko over Foyle and Najy. Anyway, great game by Fisher. He made three in a row and thought he was our Kobe [IMG]

Dunleavy at power forward... I am all right with that. He needs to add some pounds like Murphy did, though. Zarko has been looking good. And Fisher played decent. Not a bad game considering you knew what the outcome was going to be. Of course with any low post presence or player we have to double team, the opposing small forwards are going to go off with easy shots contested or uncontested. cough, Dunleavy, cough.

I still like Fitz and Barnett, but man... I am starting to believe that Dunleavy is Barnett's bastard son or something, because when Dunelavy played excellent 2nd half, I thought Barnett was dying of the excitement, and he probably wanted Warriors to win that game the most.

Positive thing about Fisher is that he may be the guy we are looking for in terms of outside shooting. Today, everybody was constantly looking for him to shoot from the outside, and he made a lot of it. Negative thing is that he makes one too many poor shot selections. There is no reason for Shaq to drive into Shaq's armpit for layup, or try to make layup when there were two defenders inside, and driving to the hoop isn't his biggest weapon.

Dunleavy looked brilliant. I wonder what flipped his switch.

Jarko was really shooting well today. I wonder why he only got like 13 mins...

Yeah Dunleavy did good at PF. Murphy's defense wasn't as good as Dunleavy's either. If Dunleavy could play like this every night, he could be a great player to play with J-Rich once J-Rich is back in his mood

Yeah good game for Dunleavy... but you know it won't last for more than one game and it's not like he was the difference in winning. Miami still went off from everywhere and we can't defend worth sh-- even if its not in terms of guarding Shaq. Nobody can play Shaq except for Yao and Dampier. Shaq always vocally challenges the guys that give him trouble it seems. [IMG] Man I miss Damp.

I'll tell you what flipped his switch. It was Dwayne Wayde's push offs and flare up. Dunleavy reminds me of this kid that we used to purposely piss off in pickup games. The kid had no confidence, and getting him pissed off made him play 10 times better. So what we used to do is set a real hard screen or two on the guy that was guarding him so that the other guy would get a little physical with him.

It's unfortunate that Mike can't find that motivation on a daily basis. He looks so good when he has that spark.

It's frustrating when these guys put up good numbers on offense only to give up more points on the defensive end. We can say wow great Dunleavy had a great game.. and then it's back to normal where he'll get one decent game going by the end of the month in a losing game. Same with Fisher, and then Jrich will have to provide the scoring load rather than dish out the assists and play near the glass. Jrich has to be the playmaker because the other team is afraid of him as the primary scoring threat. They'll forget about Fisher, Dunleavy, Murphy or Claxton.

BTW, how can Foyle only get two rebounds? He must have even worse hands than Dampier and half the hops of Troy Murphy. Jeez, Mullin is looking like a collosal idiot for that one. 8-10 mil a year is what you pay for starting centers that set the tone. What the heck do we do with this dead weight? I mean his team option is in year 6 right?

You guys probaly haven't noticed, but even though Speedy is back.. he seems to lost his touch a bit. Doesn't look 100% to me.We lost to the Heat, Warriors suck. Heh, big deal. We didn't lose by much thought, and thats a big deal. Best is the East could barely hang with one of the worst in the West which wasn't even 100%.

Speedy is probably sensing that we need him so he's playing injured like Jrich and Dunleavy is. Yeah it was a good game... I can't believe Shaq actually said he wouldn't mind being a Warrior. I think he said that to be nice because he felt sorry for us Warrior fans. lol. Miami almost fell into the trap because they didn't respect the Warriors team.

Carbakapa has got a nice touch and maybe that wandering big man that everyone always seems to find (Ben Wallace, Brad Miller, etc.) but the Warriors never find.

Dunleavy had a great game. Let's see how he does tonight before we pass judgment.

Fisher seems like he feels like he's got the green light to do whatever he wants. Yes he hits the open J which is big but then he just forgets about team play and starts to shoot whenever he wants, like a Kobe moment. You would think he could turn that out.

Somehow, if the Warriors could survive with Claxton, J-Rich, Pietrus/Fisher, Dunleavy and Murphy/Carbakapa, they could be onto something. See Suns and Sonics.

Hope is there, they played the Heat tough on the road. That's better than down 25 in the 3rd.

Carbarkapa looks tougher defensively than he has in a while. Maybe the motivation is that he wants that starting job and the Warriors is the place to do it. After all, how many ex-warriors have landed big money and had career years with us? I don't really see most of our young guys being re-signed like Cabarkapa or Flores. Pietrus might, but he might be passed up in favor of locking up Biedrens.
