Knicks @ Warriors
Tuesday, Dec. 16
7:00 pm

Warriors Probable Starters

PG: Nick Van Exel
SG: Jason Richardson
SF: Mike Dunleavy
PF: Clifford Robinson
C: Erick Dampier

Knicks Probable Starters

PG: Charlie Ward
SG: Allan Houston
SF: Shandon Anderson
PF: Kurt Thomas
C: Dikembe Mutombo

Key Match-up

[IMG][IMG]J-Rich/Allen Houston

This should be a great match-up: Veteran vs. Youngster. We all know how Houston can take over a game with his hot shooting, but he will also have to try and contain the high-flying Richardson. J-Rich has athleticism over Houston but Houston is a crafty defender.

Warriors Keys to the Game

The Warriors have been inconsistent as of late. They have been losing to some teams they probably shouldn't have and beating teams they probably shouldn't beat. It is time to go on a nice winning streak and this is the perfect team to start on. The Knicks have played pretty well at home this year so the Warriors will need their "A" game. The Knicks cannot much up to the Warriors one on one. Look for Van Exel to have a break out night and Dampier to control the glass.

Knicks Keys to the Game

The Knicks feel like this is a game they can win. They have played pretty well at home while the Warriors have struggled on the road. It will be a struggle of two teams trying to get on the right track. The Knicks know they are out-matched so they will need to do all the small things to win: hustle, limit TOs, limit the Warriors possesions, etc.

Rudeezy's Prediction

The Warrriors get back on the right track with a W. It will be a close game for the first three quarters until the Warriors finally break the game open in the 4th.

Warriors by 12.

Warriors v. Knicks

Please don't quote large amounts of text - Sandman

I hate to break it to you Rudeezy, but the Warriors are about to get a rude awakening. The Warriors will only have a chance against the Knicks, if Houston does not play. If he does he will eat them for lunch. Get out the kleenex your gonna need it.

You really think the Knicks are better than the Warriors? Wow, look at their records. Then look at them again. Then again. Then think about which conference each team is in. Then look at the records again. Which one is better?

Bos33, I respect your opinion, no matter how ludicris it may be. I'm not saying the Knicks don't have a chance, because they do, but the Warriors are clearly the better team.

Head-to-Head this year: Warriors 1 Knicks 0

Obie, i have to tell you a record is just a # of wins a & losses. The Warriors are playing better this year so far, but it is a long season as we both know. There is so much parity in the league right now, the best team in the league as we all know( it hurts to admit this ) is the Lakers, and even Orlando as bad as they have been could pull off the upset and beat the Mighty Lakers when they meet.

That is ridiculous and makes no sense.

Care to explain?

Rudeezy, it does make sense, he is ther leading scorer if he is out the Warriors will most likely win. If he plays they will lose. Also the Warriors don't play that great on the road they are 1-6 so far this year.

That is obvious...what is your point?

The Warriors already beat the Knicks, pretty easily, in their first meeting. The Warriors play in the West and have a better record.

How are the Knicks a better team than the Warriors? Explain that to me.

Rudeezy look at their records, the Warriors have two more wins than the Knicks, i wouldn't get to excited just yet. You just repeated my point about a team minus their star player. The Warriors beat the Knicks by 12 in their last meeting, if you check the box score you will see that Houston did not play. You must remember that Brian Cradinal is not going to give you 19 points every night. By the way what is wrong with Damp, he only played 5 minutes the other night?

Since when has Houston been thought of as a difference maker? Warriors have the better team and still aren't heathly yet. When you make statements as you have here It will make you look really foolish if Knicks do not get the win.Houston will be playing as he returned against the Wizards. Will you be back here if the Knicks lose?

Again, it makes no sense whatsoever.

Good question.
