    Key Matchup

    [IMG][IMG]

With Speedy Claxton questionable, NVE will need to play a lot of productive minutes tonight against one of the best PGs in the League, J-Kidd.

    Warriors Keys to the Game

They must get back in transition to limit the Net's fast break points. It is no secret that the Nets like to run. Dampier must dominate Collins on the low block and give the Warriors the advantage on the boards. I would also like to see Murphy get some big minutes tonight against K-Mart although Cliffy D will give him fits. Speedy is questionable so NVE will need to give us some good minutes and hopefully Johnson can give us a lift off the bench.

    Nets Keys to the Game

Run, run, and run. The Nets can use their breaks to create easy baskets. The Warriors have become a better half court Defense team but are still shaky on the break. If the Nets get rolling off the back with some easy buckets, the Warriors will be in for a long night.

    Rudeezy's Prediction

The Warriors have been too inconsistent on the road this year. I'm going with the Nets at home.

    Nets by 7.

With the Nets at home I say they take this one by 5.

I say Nets by 3, this'll be sort of an unfair matchup. However the skills of NVE might disrupt Kidd, Martin will inevitably overpower Robinson....I believe the Richardson and Kittles matchup will be of great importance, they both have a great shot, it'll be hard to defend or contest either of them. Great Review as always Rudeezy. Keep up the good work. Also good luck to your Warriors, I hope they win.

With the Nets at home and Claxton questionable, Nets take it 6+.

I just have one question- how is it an unfair matchup? The Nets are no better than any other team that the Warriors have already played.

Well I didn't mean in general, just mainly between Robinson and Martin. Oh also maybe Collins and Dampier, Dampier is far superior on both ends, Collins appears to be a purely offensive Center, a big man with offensive ability, much like Rodney Rogers who'll hopefully play well for the Nets and score like he usually does so.

I most likely won't be around for the recap until next year. Sorry.

But lets remember that Cliffy is a great defender. He held Carmelo to 10 points the other night. Kevin Garnett said Cliffy is the best defensive player in the game right now.

I think I got confused, I know one of them is good, I always get confused as to who the old Robinson who shoots threes is and the defensive one, Glenn and Cliff.

The Warrriors lose, again. Not a good start to the road trip. This could really make or break their season. If they come out with only one win on this 5 game road trip they will be in a huge hole.

Didn't see the game, did Nick Van Exel get hurt? He went 0-5 in only 18 minutes, of course that's a big reason they lost, but they had a bad shooting night. No big contribution off the bench, especially scoring wise. Warriors leading scorer had 16, you cannot come in and expect to win against a hot Nets team on the road. It's frustrating to watch them lose, but they will pull through it. I don't think this would break their season, but I think it will be great have to pick up 2 or 3 wins in this road trip.

Well Purple it goes like this.... Something has to be going on with NVE. I posted the same thing on the espn board. I am trying not to hold his past against him but something is rotten in Warriorland. NVE has absolutely no fire in him to win these last few games. He seems to be revolting against a losing team or the coach or possibly both. I cannot read his mind but I know that something is not right. It makes me really mad. He should be a leader on this team and you can tell that he does not want to be there. He gives up on a team that easily? He has got to be trying to get traded by the deadline. That is all that I can come up with. If someone else has a different opinion I would love to hear it. Believe me. I don't want to be right but it is not looking good. As bad as the whole team played the rest of team at least looked like they were trying. Anybody notice that Damp didnt wear the Quik armband for the first time? He wore Adonal's. I miss him.

IMO Van Exel means too much to this team to be traded. He's always hitting the big baskets for the Warriors, and they will really need him down the stretch for his clutch shooting. I haven't seen any Warrior games lately because I've been busy, so I cannot speak on if he's trying hard or not.

Something happens to the Warriors in teh third quarter- they've lost all of their last three games because of horrible third quarters.
Against Denver, while the Nuggets' run started in the second quarter, the Warriors were still only down by a couple of points. They let the game get out of hand and got blown out in teh third quarter.
It's the same story against Boston. While they played with fire in the fourth quarter, they shoudl never have been down by 16 in the third.
The were only down by 2 at the half tonight against teh Nets. They got destroyed in the third, and teh game was over before teh fourth quarter started.

They lack the fire and the effort in the third quarter. They think that they can turn the switch on in the fourth and come back adn win the game. While this happened a few times, more often than not, the Warriors' furious runs are cut short because they didn't have enough time.
All I ask of this team is consistency. Not just consistency on the home and the road (by the way, have you seen their home adn away records? The disparity is crazy), but also consistency throughout the game. Continued effort throughout all teh quarters will ensure that they don't get blown out by teams taht they are very capable of beating.
