<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Golden State Warriors have signed free agent guard J.R. Bremer to a 10-day contract, general manager Garry St. Jean announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Bremer, 23, averaged 3.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 13.0 minutes in 31 games (two starts) for Cleveland this season before being waived on March 3. He had his best game of the season on Opening Night at Sacramento (October 29), when his 20-point effort included connecting on six-of-nine three-point attempts. The six made three-pointers matched his career-high set during a 22-point performance at Golden State on February 18, 2003 while with Boston. </div>

Unfortunately, the first game of the season was the only good game he had all year. I hope everything works out for him and the Warriors, but his shot completely disappeared after opening night. If he gets enough playing time maybe he'll snap out of his slump.

He couldn't find his way back into the rotation in Cleveland so he never really got a chance to shoot his way out.

Bremer would surely make a much more impact on the Warriors than Rusty ever did and ever will.

Why are we getting a combo guard?

Memories of Arenas? Anyways, supposedly Bremer can shoot although he was a horrible slump in Cleveland earlier this year.

We should have went with this guy over Lurue. Lets see how many minutes he gets. Hopefully he can hog some minutes at the point.

Yeah, we need a faster point guard that won't get tangled up like Dunleavy gets. But the good thing now is that Jrich or Dunleavy can get used to pushing the ball up instead of having to wait for the point guard. I just sure hope Bremer can defend. It's the penetration against the warriors that causes openings on the perimeter. We don't have any more Pietrus' left to defend and Cheaney is as slow as Richardson moving laterally.

    It just means less Pietrus.

Haha, but Bremer is better than Larue. This is a former second team rookie we're talking about here.

I unfortunately attended that game where Bremer went for 22. I was thinking what is going on? Who's that? Ugh.

That's the warriors strategy. Get anybody who set their career highs against the warriors. LOL. Pretty soon we're going to get Voshon Leonard.
