I think the warriors are going to win by 100 tonight....184 - 85. And Zarko will get his career high of 82 points. And Biedrins will play 28 minutes to beat his career high in minutes of 27 minutes.

It's not too late for one of these rookies or young prospects to break out and emerge as an All-Star-caliber player.

It could be Ike. It could be Biedrins. It could be Monta. it could be Taft. It could even by Zarko. Perhaps one of these players is just a few good minutes away from emerging as a true star in the league.

    That alone is worth waching.

Oh yeah -- it could be Pietrus.

Only 9 players in uniform, we'll see a lot of rookies tonight.

What channel is this on for you guys? I've got basic cable, so far every FSN+ game has been on channel 39 for me (FSN is 40) but today I can't find it anywhere.

My FSN+ is 32 here in the Monterey Peninsula.

Ellis just elevated over Theo Ratliff. Wow.

I just checked every channel thats listed on the FSN Bay Plus site, didnt find it. I guess I'll have to wait. I wonder why Mully didnt sign someone to a 10 day contract just so that we have some extra bodies tonight, we only have one guard of the bench. I guess Zarko will probably play some 3 and Pietrus will probably play the 4 (though Monty would do that on a normal night).

Pietrus, Ellis, and Fisher can play the guard spot.

Ellis has 8 pts already, 4 of 6 shooting. And 8 mins left in 2nd. He is lightning quick.

Damn, could you tell me how he got those points? Jump shots? Dunks? This kid is damn good.

Now everyone on the Sharks is picking a fight with 9 seconds left in the game. this sucks.

Some jump shots, floaters, and lay ups. He can get to the rim in an instant. Warriors are playing very well, compared to the other previous games. Maybe theres better chemistry among this starting group? haha.

    *edit

Murphy got denied twice by joe pryzbilla the vanilla gorilla. But he's playing good, got lots of rebounds.

Montay blocked Dixon's buzzer beater lay up attempt!!!!!!!!! He got super high! I love this kid

Not to be messed up, while it's unfortunate for J-Rich to be out (not so much for Dun :-)

It's definately given the rookies opportunities, and I think it's given us more weapons as Monty realizes their skills.

Thanks! I definitely saw that block. That was nasty! Great ups by Monta Ellis.

I'm glad Monty is forced to play these young guys, because we need an x factor and a guy the league doesn't know how to defend yet.

I know sometimes minimal minutes should be given to rookies who aren't ready yet (so the rookies aren't mentally screwed up by the pressure and lose confidence). Like for instance, I wonder if Dunleavy would have developed better if he wasn't made a starter instantly after his first year (where he was struggling in the nba). But damn, Monta Ellis sure looks like a player that is mentally tough, has an idea what he's doing, can keep his guy in front (like Speedy Claxton), and can knife his way to the rim like Arenas or Tony Parker. He's very aggressive on both ends of the floor. Monta would sure help out on individual defense because Fisher and Baron Davis just get burned by quicker guards. The same thing I like with Pietrus versus Jason Richardson. Richardson has a lot of power like Baron Davis does, but Jrich and Baron get burnt a lot defending on the ball. Pietrus is a lot better in terms of on the ball defense. Hopefully, Pietrus and Ellis will learn not to overplay too much unless they are aware of the ball trying to go for the steal.
