Nets are shooting lights out. Not much you can do when the other team is hitting everything. End of 1st Nets 37 Warriors 24 GSW: Davis 10 pts, 3 ast, 1 reb, 1 stl NJ: Kidd 14 pts, 9 ast, 1 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk
Richardson is playing so dumb right now. What gives? If he's going to intentionally foul make sure he can't get an and1 play. This game is over it seems if they're going to play like that.
Why do we even play Ike if all hes going to do is set a screen for Fisher to shoot an of balance 3? He always gets great position but hes just left out completely. I already turned the game off because the Warriors just keep on chucking 3's. Hopefully I can bear to watch the second half...
Man, the Warriors better do something in the second half, this is demoralizing. We're getting mocked on, and humiliated.
Vince Carter is a good player but should be getting his points on the FT line, not jacking up 29 foot three pointers. JKidd is a great player but not a shooting threat. Happy birthday to both of those guys because it was their birthday tonight. Our great leader Montgomery didn't get our team to stop jacking three's and failed to motivate our players. The players lost the game but the responsibility was ALL on Monty's shoulders. I honestly have no idea whether he's a good coach because nobody listens to him...ever. By the end of this year, I'm on pace to get an aneurysm watching the W's play.
This is the third game I've watched all year. Sadly the other game I watched was the spurs one. Maybe I'm bad luck. Anyways there was nothing the players or coaches could do to win this game the way the Nets played. In the second half the warriors stopped jacking threes and started getting to the line, but it still made no difference. I agree that late in the first quarter when they shot 3 3 pointers in a row which led to easy buckets, that they were pressing it a bit and that Monty should have called another timeout when the nets were on another run. And it didn't help that they turned the ball over twice in the last two posessions of the quarter, which should have been easy layups. Overall they were very sloppy, but these kind of games happen during the course of the season. I wouldn't blame Monty on this loss though, not that I think he is a great coach or anything. The Nets played great.

http://www.nba.com/warriors/news/recap_121805.html If you ready Monty's quotes, it sounds like the guys maybe did some partying last night. They obviously looked tired and not ready to play. Hopefully that was the reason, and they will show up to play tomorrow.

Worst game of the year. Saw the start and the Warriors were lifeless. If JRich wants to be an all-star, these are the games where he has to play up to his 20 pt level. He was settling for jump shots and not getting back on D. Dunleavy, what's up Mike? Got to the rack hard and palm the ball. Too many loose balls. Plus, why catch the ball 28-30 ft away from the rim? That's not the triple threat position. Dunleavy has got to assert himself. Monty, no way this is on him. The coach is an easy target but look at the players, hey played stupid. Its not like they are all young players like the Hawks, they are seasoned vets and should know how to play.

No one looked very interested on either side of the floor. I still would like Monty to post up Murphy and Diogu though. Murphy was a montser in the key the last time we played them and no one on the Nets can handle Ike one-on-one. Does anyone else think that J-Rich is scared when he plays Vince Carter? I think someone mentioned it last time we played the Nets and it looked apparent as well last night. Also, Monty didnt stop the players from taking threes, maybe the players just ignore him but if hes really going to be the coach hes got to impose his will. The players just came out flat and didnt perform, we had no chance the entire game.
