every sports show i listen to watch are saying the clippers are the surprise team of the nba. they are saying stuff like, who would have thought the clippers would make the playoffs? wow! the clippers came from nowhere to the 6th spot in the west. i cant believe the clippers made the playoffs!

i dont understand why everyone is so surprised. i mean, with a starting lineup of kaman, brand, maggette, mobley, and cassel, and a bench of livingston (promising rookie), and wilcox (was a clipper), i thought the clips would be in for sure.

im just wondering, i wasnt the only one who thought the clips would make it this year, or was i? [IMG]

need an example? go here: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime?pa...-LACPreview0506. espn's pre season predictions. only 1 person picked the clippers to go in the playoffs, and chad ford actually says that the signings of cassel and mobley wont make up for the losses of jaric and simmons.

Nope, but I was expecting them to battle for 7th or 8th, not be this high. It's not really my fault though, I mean, me like most didn't expect Houston to have so many injuries, and expected them to be a Top 4 team in the West. I also expected Sacramento to still be good, and Seattle to battler for 7/8th along with LAC, though not be as good as last season.

good point. i, also, didnt expect to see the clippers this high in the playoffs. but you have to wonder how a starting line of kaman, brand, maggette, mobley, and cassel cant even get you the 8th spot in the west. some so called "basketball experts" are really dumb. [IMG]
