Which Antawn will show up to this game, the one that shoots about 50%, or the one that shoots about 25%? [*]Kawme- In 23 minutes last game, he scored 9 pts and grabbed 9 boards. I think we will see about 30 minutes from him tonight, and those will be important minutes. He is going up against Emeka Okafor, candidate for Rookie of the Year Award. We need Kwame to show up offensively, defensively, and aggressively. We need an aggressive Kwame in this one. [*]Offensive Boards- I think we are going to have a bad shooting night, just a feeling I have, so offensive boards are really important. If we can grab offensive boards, not only will it tire the Bobcats out on D, it will break their confidence. [*]Emeka- No one thought is offensive game would be this good at this stage, all the scouts thought he would struggle a little in his first year from the offensive end, but he hasn't. This is no game for him to start struggling either, he needs to get atleast 15 and 10 for the Bobcats to win. [*]Play with Heart- Charlotte has looked good all year for an expansion team, no one thought they would come in and make the playoffs, they obviously won't, but they are headed in the right direction. Just come into this game and play with heart, play until the buzzer sounds at the end of the 4th. I doubt they win, but ya never know.. Uh-Oh, Brown started out 2-2 making a running J and a layup..expect him to sit for about 40 minutes now because EJ doesn't want him to get hott
Good, Tawn Jamison is injured, how glad are we to have him out? I must say Kwame had a great game with 16 points and 12 boards; and how about Laron Profit? Making the effort to getting the board and driving in the game winner. Great game for the wiz.
LARON LARON LARON LARON IS GOOOOOOOOODD I've been wanting him to play all year, but EJ had a love affair with Hayes (thank you for being out 4-6)..Kwame had a good game, did I not call his stats? I came damn close..he played 40 minutes though..whoa...was EJ knocked out for 20 of those? What happened to Jamison, I've been asleep for the past 2 and a half hours...anyways...he didn't ruin this game for us so I am thankful. Everyone else struggled from the fioeld though, Arenas was 5-18, but he got to the FT line 10 times and was perfect. Hughes was 3-15... Sweet win, I really thought we were going to lose
Quote:

CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 5 (Ticker) -- In an instant, Laron Profit gave the Washington Wizards a rare road win. Profit scored on a follow shot with three seconds left to lift the Wizards to an 86-84 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. The win snapped Washington's six-game road losing streak and was just its third in nine games overall. The club last won away from home at Cleveland on January 24.
Full Recap Box Score
Why do you guys hate on Jamison so much. Last time I checked the dude was an all-star. Tons of teams would love to have him, I'm just curious as to why people think he is such a bad player.

He's practically the Tim Thomas of the Wizards.
Brendan Haywood!! Okay game, way too close for comfort, but the Wizards were able to come out with the win. Haywood is definately POG in this one, and Kwame also had a nice outing today with what was it, 16 points and 12 rebounds. A little problem shooting in the game, but the win was gotten, though very close..
Haywood played amazing, with 22 points, eight boards, and four blocks. Oh and K8B Jamison's knee cramped up that's why he was taken out. Haywood said, "My mom was in the crowd, and I just wanted to make her proud." Arenas struggled passing wise with only 1 assist, and 2 turnovers. Jason Hart played very well with 20 points, four rebounds, and four dimes.

Quoting Kobe 8 Ball:

Hey..I wouldn't drag him that low...but I would love to trade him for a defensive minded SF..
Sadly, the only defensive minded SF i can think of that would match his talents is named Artest. And who needs that kind of hassle? It's like a less talented Randy Moss who actually pulls down his pants to moon the crowd..then attacks them.

We need someone who isn't always thinking about scoring, someone who will play some D.

It's a tough deal, especially when you consider Tawn's salary.
Well I know the Lakers have some expiring salaries like George and Grant that I would love to have becuase they would open up a lot of space, but I doubt L.A. would want Jamison. I just want someone who isn't so concerned about scoring and actually plays defense.
